The germ sampler is used in many sectors such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and health care. 

The device is equipped with petri dishes which are incorporated in the sampling head and enable measurement according to the impaction principle. Petri dishes are made of glass or plastic and are often used by biologists when they have to culture cells or smaller elements. 

The air meter has a backlit LCD display and a sterilisable sampling head.
