White silica gel type E or Silicagel E is a highly effective desiccant whose main function is to keep products dry. It is commonly used in food, pharmaceutical and electronic packaging, as well as in export packaging, steel containers and chemical laboratories.

This silica gel consists of white, semi-transparent spherical beads that ensure optimal ventilation. It contains no colour indicator.

Silica gel E acts as a water absorber, mainly in the dry range (0 - 40% RH)

White silica gel beads type E act as an efficient moisture absorbent, particularly effective in environments with a relative humidity range of 0 to 40 % (RH).

Thanks to their spherical shape and specific composition, they are recommended for use in layers over 2 cm thick to achieve efficient drying. They are ideal as a desiccant in processes that require superior ventilation and long-term humidity control.

One of their key advantages is that they can be regenerated more than 10 times by heating at 130 °C – 150 °C for 3 hours. In addition, they are non-toxic and comply with current European Union legislation.
