The magnetometer is an electromagnetic meter that is used to monitor the electrostatic charge on surfaces, the human body and objects. In addition to electrostatic electricity, this radiation meter also measures ambient humidity and temperature.

The radiation meter has a measuring range of approximately 60kV DC.

Static electricity is the build-up of excess electrical charge on either an insulating or conductive material. Static charge generated on surfaces can cause damage to electronic parts and other objects. In case of high electrostatic charge, and in contact with inflammable gases or liquids, a flame or fire can occur.

Magnetometers are normally used in manufacturing and ESD (Elctrostatic Discharge) rooms. 

The electromagnetic field meter is powered by a 9 V battery and has a maximum autonomy of 20 hours. The magnetometer is also supplied with two lasers which control the measuring distance.

The device is switched off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
