The Tecnadis Multicoat Anti-Corrosion nanoprotector is a single-component nanoceramic coating designed to protect metals against corrosion and oxidation in demanding environments (humidity, salinity, weathering and pollutants). Its metallic grey finish facilitates visual inspection of the coating and provides a durable layer for maintenance.

The technology is based on a dispersion of ceramic and metallic nanoparticles that contributes to advanced cathodic protection. The result is a protective film with good adhesion to metal surfaces and resistance to the combined action of water, ice, salt, rust and UV radiation, giving behaviour suitable to extend maintenance intervals.

Application guide for the metal nanoprotector (preparation, spraying and curing)

• Surface preparation: work on clean, dry metal; remove oxidation/corrosion and degrease with appropriate cleaners.
• Application: shake the container and spray in uniform passes until the required finish is achieved, avoiding excess and runs; can be applied by aerosol or with spray equipment (including airless) according to the process.
• Curing: cures at room temperature; can be accelerated in an oven following manufacturer recommended conditions.
