Artsorb Humidity Stabiliser in Sheets pre-conditioned at 50% RH for controlling relative humidity in the preservation of artworks: paintings, framing systems and other vertical applications such as the back panels of display cases or transport crates. It is up to five times more effective than standard density silica gel and is particularly efficient at stabilising relative humidity at higher levels.

Each Artsorb sheet can be cut to size, and it is recommended to use between 5 and 10 sheets per m³ to maintain a stable microclimate.

Artsorb Sheet for controlling relative humidity in frames and display cases

Each sheet is made of a non-woven polyethylene/polypropylene fabric impregnated with Art Sorb particles, a high-capacity silica material that actively regulates relative humidity.

Quantities may vary depending on the environment of use, and it is recommended to monitor conditions with a hygrometer to ensure the correct humidity level is achieved.
