Antistatic Dissipative Bags for ESD Products
Dissipative polyethylene foil bags that provide safety against electrostatic discharge. Suitable for welding. They offer a combination of flexibility and strength, making them easy to handle in industrial processes. In addition, they are available in various sizes and formats to suit different packaging needs, ensuring the safety of the contents.
Dissipative antistatic bags are pink in color and are usually used in EPA (Electrostatic Protection Area) zones, common areas in the automotive sector with a Relative Humidity of 50% and a temperature of 23ºC (73ºF). This type of product dissipates electrostatic charges, minimizing the risk of rapid discharge.
The purpose of this type of dissipative ESD bags is to protect products from the creation of electrostatic charges.
Within the category of Dissipative bags, we could separate them into 3 types:
- Standard: These are the most economical, with a limited lifespan in their properties of protection against electrostatic charges thanks to their surface additive. This is the standard type within the EPA zone. The most common thicknesses are 50-60 microns.
- Permanent: A better product than the previous one as it does not lose its protective properties against electrostatic charges.
- With recycled material: The PE with which it is manufactured comes from a percentage of recycled material.
