Anti-Static Dissipative Bubble Bags for double protection of ESD products.

The antistatic dissipative bubble bags are made with a layer of bubbles that dampen shock and vibration, while their dissipative properties make them an ideal choice for packaging, transporting and storing electronics and integrated circuits.

Dissipative antistatic bags are pink in color and are usually used in EPA (Electrostatic Protection Area) zones, common areas in the automotive sector with a Relative Humidity of 50% and a temperature of 23ºC (73ºF). This type of product dissipates electrostatic charges, minimizing the risk of rapid discharge. The purpose of this type of dissipative ESD bags is to protect products from the creation of electrostatic charges.

Within the category of Dissipative bags, we could separate them into 3 types:

  • Standard: These are the most economical, with a limited lifespan in their properties of protection against electrostatic charges thanks to their surface additive. This is the standard type within the EPA zone. The most common thicknesses are 50-60 microns.
  • Permanent: A better product than the previous one as it does not lose its protective properties against electrostatic charges.
  • With recycled material: The PE with which it is manufactured comes from a percentage of recycled material.
